Businesses and universities need to work together if Australia stands a chance at innovating on the world’s stage. Our brief was to create a film that acts as a conversation starter on the political stage. Both sides are actually saying the same thing, just in isolation to each other, so we devised an idea that demonstrated how confusing it is to have these two parties talk at the same time. With one voice everything becomes clear.
In this film, we hear two voices - one is delivering a speech to an audience of Australian business people, the other to a room of Australian academics. Their language echoes at times, diverges at others, and we resolve with a common conclusion: innovating together.
