An infamous Game of Thrones episode had just aired and in it a naked Cersei Lannister walks through the city streets with Septa Unella (The Shame Nun) following closely behind her ringing a bell and yelling “Shame!” over and over.
In response to this we created The Shade Bell. Instead of throwing shame, we created an app that gave Ru Paul’s Drag Race fans a way to throw some shade with a shady bell. We partnered up with Darienne Lake from Ru Paul’s Drag Race (Season 5) who provided the voice. You could select your Shady Lady, who has her own distinct bell sound, and throw some random shade at people by ringing your phone like a bell.
